Who and Where
Aragon is a band that is based out of League City, TX, just south of Houston.
Frank Aragon is the band leader, Matthew Aragon plays drums, and Cliff
Torberson plays the bass. They've been playing together for the
past 2 years in churches in the Houston and Beaumont area.
About
Of course the three of them have their own musical taste, but they manage
to put together a nice Texas style funk-rock sound, with a "bluesy"
edge. Frank and Matthew have been playing together for 12 years now, and
Cliff was the perfect fit with his funk-style. You'll find them working
at NASA during the day, and Frank serving on staff as worship pastor.
But anytime there's an available stage, they don't mind loadin' the gear,
and stompin' on the gas to get somewhere to play their hearts out.

Preaching the Gospel:
In any given show, you'll hear truth explained. The message they share
is from the Bible. The Bible says that none are good, and all of us are
wicked to the core. You'll hear them say something like, "Within
a hundred years, none of us will be here, so what really matters?"
Because we've broken God's eternal moral laws (the 10 commandments), we
should be punished in hell, no matter how difficult of a life we've had.
But God is kind, and rich in mercy. God paid the price for our transgressions
by dieing on a cross, and redemption comes through repentance and faith
in Jesus, who rose victorious from the grave.
What they do....
Aragon is willing to play at parties, churches, concerts, or lead in worship.
Frank has been on church staff for the past 13 years, and loves to teach.
They often lead small groups at weekend retreats, as well as teach evangelism
classes and one-on-one discipleship. Frank has filled in the pulpit
for pastors, as well as for music ministers. They can have a big
rock sound, or a smooth acoustic sound. They can bring a PA, or
sit in a living room with an acoustic and a djembe. Christ is at
the center, and they love to love like their Savior.
